Camp Plymouth State Park, Vermont

    Camp Plymouth State Park is a camping and recreation area in Vermont. Daily, the park sees hundreds of campers and daytime visitors who want to enjoy all the amenities: hiking, cycling, swimming, boating, and even horse camping! Sunset Stables at Lincoln Woods State Park

Sunset Stables is located midway down the western perimeter of Lincoln Woods State Park in Lincoln, Rhode Island.  The stables are open seven days a week, year-round. Visitors ages eight and over can participate in riding classes, group trail excursions on horseback, and summer riding camps.  Until recently the only restrooms available were portable toilets. YES ON 6: Support RI’s ecology and economy!

Question 6 is designed to protect Rhode Island’s beautiful, natural resources while preserving, and increasing, the tourism that bolsters the state’s economy.  By using grants funded through the Green Economy Bond city, town, and state parks can provide and maintain environmentally friendly infrastructures that support facilities for tourists.  Clivus New England’s composting toilet systems have long been used in creating sustainable recreation areas throughout Rhode Island, and Question 6 will help continue our partnership for years to come.  VOTE

Erving State Forest gets its first Clivus restrooms

Campers at the Laurel Lake Recreation Area and Campground located in Erving State Forest will find a refreshing change!  The decades-old, pit-privy toilets have been replaced with modern Clivus restrooms. In keeping with its mission statement to conserve and preserve, MA Dept. of Conservation and Recreation had three self-contained composting toilet systems installed at this recreation area.  The new toilets use no water, are solar powered, release no pollutants, and are hygienic and odor-free.  Composting

Rhode Island Great Outdoors Pursuit
