Sunset Stables at Lincoln Woods State Park

Sunset Stables is located midway down the western perimeter of Lincoln Woods State Park in Lincoln, Rhode Island.  The stables are open seven days a week, year-round. Visitors ages eight and over can participate in riding classes, group trail excursions on horseback, and summer riding camps.  Until recently the only restrooms available were portable toilets. Ninigret Park in Charlestown, RI, gets Clivus

Ninigret Park in Charlestown, RI, is certainly the place to be in the warmer months!  The park boasts several soccer and athletic fields, tennis courts, a nature center, a bike path, playgrounds, a sky observatory, and a large dog park.  Needless to say visitors are numerous! Recent improvements to the park, including four new restrooms, were made possible in part through funding from a RI Dept. of Environmental Management (RI DEM) Trail grant.  Town officials
